West Monroe Suspect Arrested on Child Pornography Charges

On September 22, 2016, the Ouachita Parish Sheriff’s Office Special Victims Unit, working in conjunction with the FBI, executed a search warrant at a West Monroe residence as part of joint child pornography investigation.  Child pornography videos were found on a cellular phone owned by John David Owen, age 29, of West Monroe.  Owen was arrested and is currently being held at OCC on 5 counts of Pornography Involving Juveniles.  The investigation is continuing.
