Warrants Issued for Suspects in Recent Town & Country Area Vehicle Burglaries
UPDATE Aug. 25th-Warren Mason was arrested by OPSO earlier this morning on the warrant charges.
UPDATE: Eric Amphy has been located by deputies, but we are still searching for Warren Mason.
The Ouachita Parish Sheriff’s Office is currently searching for two suspects stemming from the recent investigation into vehicle burglaries that occurred in the Town and Country area of Monroe. Warrants have been issued for Warren J. Mason and Eric J Amphy. Mason is described as a Black male, age 21, 6’0” tall and weighing 198 lbs. Amphy is described as a Black Male, age 23, 6’2” tall and weighing 165 lbs. Both are from Monroe.
Each has been charged with 2 counts of Vehicle Burglary, 2 counts of Conspiracy to Commit Vehicle Burglary, 4 counts of Access Device Fraud and 4 counts of Conspiracy to Commit Access Device Fraud (stemming from the use of stolen credit cards taken in the vehicle burglaries).
Suspects are possibly traveling in a white full-size van (see photo). Both may be armed.
