Suspect Arrested On Narcotics and Firearms Charges

Ouachita Parish Sheriff’s SCAT Deputies conducting an investigation into illegal narcotics sales at a residence in the 700 block of Tidwell Road have arrested Charles Michael Knight of West Monroe.

Deputies searched the residence and as a result, seized 2 grams of suspected Marijuana, 3.5 grams of suspected Methamphetamine, 1 vial of Testosterone and 22 tablets of assorted pharmaceutical narcotics.

Deputies also recovered 31 firearms in close proximity of the narcotics in the residence. Six of the firearms had been reported stolen in Union Parish, Lincoln Parish and the city of Monroe.

Knight has been booked into OCC on 6 cts. of Possession of Stolen Firearms, 1 ct. of Illegal Carrying of a weapon in the presence of Narcotics and numerous drug related charges.

The investigation is continuing.
