Suspect Arrested in Sterlington Village Vehicle Burglaries Investigation

The investigation by Ouachita Parish Sheriff’s Investigators into the recent vehicle burglaries in the Village Area of Sterlington has led to the arrest of the suspect.

Deputies responded to reports of several vehicle burglaries on May 17, 2020.  The burglaries occurred on Rogers, Ronaldson and Francis Avenues.  Various items including a wallet and firearms were taken.

The suspect, a juvenile, has been booked into Green Oaks Detention Center on five counts of Simple Burglary of a Vehicle.  His identity cannot be released due to his juvenile status.

The Investigation is continuing.
