Suspect Arrested in Juvenile Solicitation Investigation

On January 3, 2019, the Ouachita Parish Sheriff’s Special Victims Unit, in conjunction with the FBI Violent Crimes Against Children Task Force, executed a search warrant at a residence on Cowboy Lane in West Monroe. The warrant stemmed from an investigation into the online solicitation of an 11 year old female victim from the state of Washington.

The investigation has led to the arrest of Christopher Joe Stamper, age 26, of West Monroe. Stamper has been booked in OCC on the charge of 1 count Computer Aided Solicitation of a Minor. The investigation is continuing and more charges are possible. At the time of the arrest, Stamper was out on bond pending court, stemming from an OPSO arrest in February 2018 for Pornography a Involving Juvenile.
