Sheriff Russell Presents Life Saving Award to Reserve Deputy

On August 17, 2015 Sheriff Jay Russell presented the Ouachita Parish Sheriff’s Office Life Saving Award to Darren Lenard. Lenard is being recognized for his selfless and courageous11090041 actions on August 10, 2015 where he administered CPR to Jacob Miller. “I can’t ever thank Darren enough for saving my life” said Miller. Lenard is a local business man and veteran of the Ouachita Parish Sheriff’s Reserve Unit. “The actions of Dy. Lenard exemplify the commitment and service dedication of the men and women of the OPSO Reserve Unit” said Sheriff Russell.
