Seat Belt Checkpoint on Wallace Road in West Monroe

The Ouachita Parish Sheriff’s Office teamed up with Star 101.9 to promote seat belt safety. A checkpoint was conducted by OPSO to check drivers and their occupants for seat belts. If a driver came through the checkpoint at the announced time with their seat belt on and the correct secret word, Star 101.9 rewarded them with a free gas card from the Now Store.
