UPDATE: OPSO 5-21-14 Mark Alan Cannon is in custody…

Following up on a Crime Stoppers tip OPSO Warrants Deputies apprehended Mark Alan Cannon at approximately 2:30 pm on Hickory Street in Baucomville.  Cannon has been transported to the Ouachita Correctional Center for processing.

 

On May 19th, 2014, deputies of the Ouachita Parish Correctional Center observed two inmates who had escaped from their minimum security dorms heading towards OCC’s perimeter fence.  OCC’s deputies were able to apprehend one of the inmates named Eric Wilkins.  Deputies are still searching for Mark Alan Cannon Jr. (white male DOB: 7-12-88). Cannon was incarcerated on a warrant for Possession of Methamphetamine (Bond : $2,500) and a probation violation.
