Ouachita Sheriff’s Investigators Searching for Burglary Suspects

During the early morning hours on Sept. 25, 2015, Ouachita Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a reported burglary at a business in east Ouachita Parish. The investigation revealed two unidentified suspects entered the business by breaking a door glass. Upon entry, the suspects entered the office area and took a floor safe that was not secured to the floor. Both suspects then carried the safe from the store to a waiting vehicle in the parking lot, occupied by a third suspect. The safe was loaded in the trunk of the vehicle and it then left heading north on Louisiana Highway 139 (Lincoln Road). The vehicle appears to be a late 90’s Mercury Grand Marquis, possibly maroon in color. Click the two links shown below for video of the burglary.
