Ouachita Sheriff’s Investigators Ask for Assistance in Identifying Suspects

PressReleaseDuring the early morning hours of August 8, 2015, Ouachita Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a report of a shoplifting & simple battery complaint at an all night grocery store in West Monroe.   Investigation revealed that three white males had entered the store at approximately 3:18 a.m. and appeared intoxicated. Two of the suspects then exited the store but the 3rd remained inside. This suspect (wearing a plaid shirt) was observed by the manager putting items under his shirt. When the manager confronted him, a physical altercation occurred, during which the manager’s shirt was torn. The suspect then exited the store and entered a black Jeep Liberty occupied by the other two. The suspects then left the parking lot in the Jeep. Ouachita Sheriff’s Investigators are seeking the identity of the suspect in the plaid shirt and that of the other two suspects. Surveillance camera photos of the three suspects are shown below.
