Ouachita Sheriff’s Investigators Arrest Two in Burglary Investigation

An ongoing investigation into several recent burglaries and thefts in west Ouachita Parish has resulted in the arrest of Dylan McKnight, age 29, West Monroe and Patrick R. Redmond, age 28, Eros, La. McKnight is being held at OCC on the charges of 1 ct. of Burglary of a Religious Building, 6 cts. of Simple Theft, 3 cts. of Illegal Possession of Stolen Property, 2 cts. of Damage to Property and 1 ct. of Attempted Burglary of a Religious Building. Redmond is currently incarcerated in the Jackson Parish Detention Center. Sheriff’s Investigators have placed a detainer on him for 1 ct. of Simple Burglary of a Residence. Numerous stolen items have been recovered. The investigation is continuing and more arrests are pending.
