Ouachita Sheriff’s Deputies Arrest Two in Home Invasion Investigation
Ouachita Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a reported home invasion in southeast Ouachita Parish at approximately 10:00 a.m. this morning. Investigation at the scene revealed two unidentified suspects, one armed with a handgun, had forced their way into the residence while the homeowner was present. Based on information obtained, Uniform Patrol Deputies located two suspects matching the description in the area of the crime. One of the suspects was found with a handgun in his possession. Further investigation by Sheriff’s Investigators determined the suspects had allegedly committed the burglary and one of the items taken was found in their possession. Jerry D. McDaniel, Jr., age 20 of Monroe and Paul D. Rogers, age 23 of Monroe, were arrested. Each was booked in OCC on 1 count of Aggravated Burglary and 1 count of Criminal Conspiracy to Commit Burglary.
