Ouachita Sheriff’s Deputies Arrest Two in Burglary Investigation

On January 11, 2016, Ouachita Parish Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a reported PressReleaseresidential burglary in progress in the Town and Country area of Ouachita Parish. Deputies arriving at the scene observed two suspects attempting to flee the residence. Both suspects were apprehended. Further investigation revealed both suspects were involved in several reported burglaries and attempted burglaries in the area. Willie Wyatt, Jr. age 20 and Jared Banks, age 19, both of Monroe, have been charged and are currently being held in OCC. The investigation is continuing.
Sheriff Russell commended the fast and efficient work of the deputies in arresting the suspects and clearing the burglaries.
