Ouachita Parish Sheriff’s Office Investigating Business Burglary

Ouachita Parish Sheriff’s Office Investigators are currently investigating a business burglary of Scott’s Storage, 4215 Sterlington Road in Monroe.  Unknown suspects recently entered the business after hours and stole two utility trailers, one loaded with a camouflaged colored Polaris 700 ATV and the other a John Deere zero turn lawnmower.  One of the trailers was later found abandoned and empty on US Hwy. 80 in Monroe.  The second trailer, described as a dark green 5’ x 9’ utility trailer, having a black tool box on the front and an expanded metal basket on the left side, along with the ATV and lawnmower are still missing. The suspects are believed to be traveling in a small gray or silver 4dr. sedan and a red or maroon extended cab pick-up truck. No further description is available at this time.

Note:  The ATV pictured is a similar ATV, not the actual stolen Polaris.
