Ouachita Correctional Center has Job Opening for LPN

The Ouachita Correctional Center has an immediate job opening for a Licensed Practical Nurse.  The requirements for the position are listed below.

Applicant must have a current Louisiana license, be CPR certified and able to work 12 hour shifts, rotating days and nights.

 

 

The job responsibilities include:

  •    Administering medications to offenders
  •   Charting and health screens
  •   Assisting MD personnel with procedures
  •   Being able to recognize and treat illness symptoms
