OPSO Shooting Investigation

On Wednesday, October 10, 2012, at approximately 1900 hours, the Ouachita Parish Sheriff’s Office was called to the 200 block of Woodale Drive, Monroe, LA, in reference to a shooting that occurred in a parking lot. Upon arrival, deputies discovered that a single male victim had been shot by an unknown suspect. The victim had been transported to a local hospital for treatment. Deputies were able to secure witness testimony and process the crime scene.

At this time, investigators are following up on leads. The victim is in a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Anyone with information related to this crime is asked to call the OPSO at 318-329-1200
