OPSO Seizes 7 Kilos of Cocaine and 3lbs of Meth

On the morning of 10/27/12, a Ouachita Parish Sheriff’s Office Deputy observed a vehicle traveling eastbound on I-20 commit a traffic offense.

After initiating a traffic stop on the vehicle, the deputy identified the driver as William Iraheta and two passengers as Rodolfo Meraz and Christian Gonzalez.

Upon subsequent investigation, a duffle bag containing seven kilos of Cocaine and approximately three pounds of Methamphetamine was found.

All three subjects were booked into the Ouachita Correctional Center on Possession with Intent to Distribute CDS II – Cocaine, bond $50,000, and Possession with Intent to Distribute CDS II – Methamphetamine, bond $40,000.
