OPSO Ouachita Parish Multi-Jurisdictional Task Force Street Operations October 2020

The Ouachita Parish Multi-Jurisdictional Task Force conducted street operations on October 22 and 23, 2020.   This Task Force targeted violent criminals in Ouachita Parish, including the city limits of Monroe and West Monroe.  The Task force is comprised of sheriff’s deputies and police officers representing Ouachita Parish, surrounding parishes and the 4th Judicial Court District Attorney’s Office.

Sheriff Jay Russell commends the Deputies and Police Officers from the participating agencies conducting this street operation for their hard work and dedication.  He also commends the deputies and personnel from the Ouachita Correctional Center and the Communications Division for their efforts.  It is because of their combined efforts the operations were successful.
