OPSO Offers Online Purchasing of Crash Reports

PressReleaseAs a service to our residents and the business community, the Ouachita Parish Sheriff’s Office is proud to announce a partnership with BuyCrash.com to provide online access to all Ouachita Parish Sheriff’s Office crash reports. All crash reports will be available 72 hours after the crash occurs (sooner if completed), except for fatal crashes and crashes still under investigation. Fatal crash reports must be purchased in person at the Ouachita Parish Sheriff’s Office.

All requests from businesses for OPSO crash reports will be referred to BuyCrash.com The Ouachita Parish Sheriff’s Office will not provide crash reports to businesses unless a specific crash report cannot be located on the BuyCrash.com website or is a walk-in public records request.

Follow the instructions below to locate and purchase a report:

  • Visit this website, OPSO.net, click the BuyCrash.com tab to go to that site
  • Click Louisiana on the BuyCrash.com site
  • Select agency of Ouachita Parish
  • Click Search
  • Enter report number OR the last name and date of collision
  • Click “I’m not a robot” check box and click the Next Step button
  • Complete the credit card information and click the Place Order Now button
  • Click Download Crash Report button to view your report
  • Follow instructions to print the report
