OPSO Mourns the Loss of Retired Deputy Sam Oliveaux

Deputy Sam Oliveaux began his career at the Ouachita Parish Sheriff’s Office in Corrections in 1985 during the administration of former Sheriff Laymon Godwin.  Deputy Oliveaux continued his service to the citizens of Ouachita Parish for twenty years until his retirement in 2005.  Sam is remembered by those who knew and worked with him as a true friend and a very loyal, dedicated Deputy Sheriff for the Ouachita Parish Sheriff’s Office.

Visitation will be at the Mulhearn Chapel in Monroe from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 5, 2020.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, February 6th  at the chapel.
