OPSO Mourns Loss of Retired Deputy Bob West
Our prayers are with the family of retired Ouachita Parish Sheriff’s Deputy Bobby Ray (Bob) West. Bob passed away January 18, 2021.
He began his career with the Monroe Police Department before becoming a co-owner in a local glass company for many years. After retiring from the company, he joined the Ouachita Parish Sheriff’s Office Court Support Division until he retired in 2016. Bob was very well known throughout Ouachita Parish, both for his public service and his commercial business. He is remembered by those who knew him for his wit and his outgoing personality with people. Please remember his family in your prayers during this time.
The funeral service will be held Saturday, January 23rd at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home in Monroe. Visitation will be at the chapel from 11:00 until the time of the service.
