OPSO Mounted Patrol and SCAT Focus on Shopper’s Safety During the Holidays

During the holiday season, the Ouachita Parish Sheriff’s Mounted Patrol will be patrolling the Pecanland Mall parking lot, helping assure shoppers enjoy a safe holiday shopping experience. The Ouachita Parish Sheriff’s Office Special Crimes Apprehension Team (SCAT) will be working undercover at various retail outlets in Ouachita Parish keeping a vigilant eye for those desiring to commit thefts or other criminal activity victimizing area shoppers and businesses.
