OPSO Makes Arrest on Felony Possession of Stolen Property

On May 30, 2012 a routine traffic stop lead to the arrest of Lance A. Johnston, age 45 of Farmerville, LA. Patrol Deputy Kyle Walker determined that Johnston was a wanted fugitive from Jefferson Parish and that the large air conditioning unit that he was hauling was also stolen from a new construction site in Ouachita Parish. Johnston was arrested and charged with illegal felony possession of stolen property and being a fugitive from justice.

OPSO investigators have since arrested Johnston on two more felony thefts in Ouachita Parish. More charges are expected in the coming days.
