OPSO Investigators Searching for Attempted Vehicle Burglary Suspect

UPDATE:  The vehicle and the suspect have been identified.  The suspect, Ronald Dean Dyes, has been arrested.

Ouachita Parish Sheriff’s Investigators are currently investigating an attempted vehicle burglary that occurred at a residence on LA 546 in west Ouachita Parish at 11:30 a.m. today, January 8^th.  Video footage indicates the suspect is a white male driving a dark gray late model Ford Explorer or similar vehicle. Photos of the suspect and the suspect vehicle are shown below.  A vehicle and suspect of the same description are believed involved in the same type crimes in east Jackson Parish yesterday, January 7^th.  Anyone that may recognize the suspect and/or the suspect vehicle or have any information as to the identity is asked to contact the Ouachita Parish Sheriff’s Office at 318-329-1200.
