OPSO Investigators Arrest Three in Shooting Incident
The investigation into a shooting on Dec. 9, 2015 by the Ouachita Parish Sheriff’s Office has resulted in three arrests. Deputies responded to a reported shooting in the Lilac Street area Wednesday evening. The investigation revealed an altercation occurred during which several shots were fired into a vehicle. As a result, Anthony E. McKeever, Jr., age 19 of West Monroe, Andrick L. Modicue, age 18 of West Monroe, and Jaelon O. Ballard, age 17 of West Monroe, have been arrested and booked in OCC. McKeever is charged with 3 cts. of Attempted Second Degree Murder and 2 cts. of Contributing to the Delinquency of Juveniles. Modicue and Ballard are each charged with 1 ct. of Aggravated Battery and 2 cts. of Contributing to the Delinquency of Juveniles. Two juveniles present during the incident have not been charged at this time. The investigation is continuing.
