OPSO Investigation Results in Arrest for Operating a Meth Lab

During the course of a narcotics investigation by Ouachita Parish Sheriff’s SCAT Deputies, a search warrant was obtained to search a residence on Duffy Lee Road in Monroe.  The subsequent search by SCAT and Metro Narcotics yielded the components and evidence that a methamphetamine lab had been in operation at the residence. William A. Manning, age 46 of Monroe was subsequently arrested on drug charges.  Manning was booked in OCC on 1 ct. Creation/Operation of a Clandestine Lab and 1 ct. of Poss. of Drug Paraphernalia. The investigation is continuing.
