OPSO Investigating Theft of Building Material

Ouachita Parish Sheriff’s Investigators are currently investigating the theft of several items from a house under construction in the 600 block of Hartland Loop in Calhoun. The theft occurred during the night hours of October 1, 2019.  Taken were LED lighting fixtures, front door lantern type lights, a ceiling fan, carbon monoxide detectors and smoke alarms.

The suspect vehicle involved and the suspect taking the items are shown in video footage from surveillance cameras at the sight.  The vehicle appears to be possibly a Toyota truck.

Anyone with any information as to the identity of the suspect in the video or of the theft itself is asked to contact the Ouachita Parish Sheriff’s Office at 318-329-1200.
