OPSO Investigating Hit & Run Accident

OPSO Deputies are currently investigating a hit and run accident that occurred recently in Westlakes Subdivision in West Monroe.  The victim, accompanied by her husband, was walking on Kendall Ridge Drive November 1^st at 8 p.m.  The victim was struck from behind by an unidentified vehicle and received non-life threatening injuries.  The driver of the vehicle proceeded to leave the scene immediately and has not been located.  The suspect vehicle is described as possibly a white, 1990’s model Buick or Oldsmobile 4dr. sedan, license unknown.  The vehicle is believed to have sustained damage to right front fender/ headlight area. Anyone that may have seen a vehicle possibly matching the description at the time of the accident in the Westlakes Subd. area or has information as to the identity is asked to contact the Ouachita Parish Sheriff’s Office at 318-329-1200.
