OPSO Investigating Damage to Property and Theft

Ouachita Sheriff’s Investigators are currently conducting an investigation involving damage to property and theft at D & J Construction, Valley Rd., West Monroe. Upon opening the business day Monday, November 17^th, workers discovered a forklift was missing from the previously parked location in the fenced compound.  Further inspection determined a front end loader and an excavator were also missing.  All three pieces of heavy equipment were then located abandoned near the business, after being driven through and damaging the compound fence. It is believed the equipment was used to load rock onto an unknown vehicle during the night of November 16^th, 2014.  Anyone with any information concerning this incident is asked to contact the Ouachita Parish Sheriff’s Office @ 318-329-1200.
