OPSO Deputies Recover Stolen Truck and Trailer

During the investigation of a suspicious person on Joe Deats Road in Monroe on August 9^th, OPSO Deputies located a Ford pickup truck and utility trailer that were previously reported stolen. The truck was reported stolen in Ouachita Parish while the trailer was reported stolen in Caldwell. Further investigation by deputies determined both items were in the possession of Daniel Barrett, age 40 of Monroe. Barrett was booked in OCC on 1 count of Illegal Possession of Stolen Things. Both items were recovered. The investigation is continuing.
