OPSO Deputies Arrest Two for Armed Robbery of Convenience Store

PressReleaseOuachita Parish Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a reported armed robbery at 6:30 p.m. November 3, 2015 at a convenience store in northeastern Ouachita Parish. Later that evening, patrol deputies located two suspects that matched the description given. Further investigation indicated the suspects were allegedly responsible for the armed robbery. Brandon Jamal Reed, age 26 and Zachari D. Black, age 24, both of Monroe, have been arrested and are currently being held at OCC. Reed is charged with one count of armed robbery. Black is charged with one count of armed robbery, one count of Possession of Marijuana with Intent to Distribute, and two counts of Possession of Marijuana in the presence of juveniles.
