OPSO Concealed Carry Weapon Class Set for November 14, 2020

UPDATE:  This class is now full and registration is closed.  A new class will be scheduled in 2021.  Once the date is determined the information will be posted.

 

The Ouachita Parish Sheriff’s Office will offer a CCW class on Saturday, November 14, 2020 from 8:00 a.m. until 4 p.m. at the Ouachita Parish Public Rifle Range, 357 Sheriff Richard Fewell Road in West Monroe.  Participants will need to bring their own pistol in good working order, 50 rounds of ammunition, along with safety glasses and hearing protection.

Fee Schedule:
One participant: $100.00
Renewal for one: $75.00

Active Military/Natl. Guard with ID: $75.00
Family Package: $150.00
**Family package is for 2 members only of immediate family-husband & wife, father and son or daughter, or mother and son or daughter.

Completion of the course will meet the requirements to apply for a Louisiana Concealed Handgun Permit or renew a current permit.  Upon completion, you will receive a certificate of training to send in with your permit application.
