OPSO Arrests Two Suspects in Theft Investigation

Ouachita Parish Sheriff’s Investigators investigating the recent theft of firearms from a residence on Highway 15 in the Cheniere Drew community have arrested two suspects allegedly responsible.

Andre Bruno Borowski, age 35 and an unidentified juvenile suspect have been arrested and charged in connection with the crime. Borowski has been charged with one count of Illegal Possession of Stolen Firearms and the juvenile has been charged with one count of Theft of the firearms. Five of the stolen firearms were recovered.

The investigation is continuing.
