OPSO Arrests Three Suspects in Burglary Investigation

On July 31, 2018, Ouachita Parish Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a burglary alarm at a construction business on Valley Road in West Monroe. Deputies determined the suspects had broken a window to gain entry into the building and then took office items from the building.  Ouachita Parish Sheriff’s Investigators determined three suspects were allegedly responsible for the burglary.

Calvin Emanuel Braswell, age 17 and Jordan Andrew Copeland, age 17, both from West Monroe, have been charged with connection with the burglary.  Each has been charged and booked in OCC on one count of Simple Burglary.

The third suspect is a juvenile and cannot be identified due to his juvenile status.  He has been charged with one count of Simple Burglary also.
