OPSO Arrests Four Suspects in Recent Shoplifting Investigation

The investigation by Ouachita Parish Sheriff’s Investigators into a recent theft by shoplifting on August 27th at Toledo Tackle in West Monroe has led to the arrest of 4 suspects and the recovery of some of the stolen merchandise.

Carla Rochelle Guynes, age 44 of West Monroe, has been arrested and booked in OCC on 2 counts of Contributing to the Delinquency of a Juvenile and 1 count of Theft by Shoplifting.

Kerry Birt, age 34 of West Monroe, has been arrested and charged with one count of Illegal Possession of Stolen Items.

Two Richland Parish juveniles have also been arrested and each charged with one count of Theft by Shoplifting.  The identities of the juveniles cannot be released due to their juvenile status.

Richland Parish Sheriff’s Investigators assisted OPSO with the investigation.
