OPSO Announces First Concealed Carry Class for 2016

The first concealed carry weapon class for 2016, sponsored by the Ouachita Parish Sheriff’s Office Reserve Unit, is scheduled for Saturday, January 23, 2016 from 8:00 a.m. until 5 p.m. Registration is required and open seats are still available. To register or for more information, contact Sgt. Mickey Watts at the Ouachita Parish Sheriff’s Rifle Range, phone 410-2427, during normal range hours. The cost for the course is $100 and lunch is included. Participants will need to furnish their weapon and 36 rounds of ammunition, along with safety glasses and hearing protection.
