One Suspect Arrested in Commercial Trailer Theft Investigation

The investigation by Ouachita Parish Sheriff’s Investigators into the theft of a $90,000 commercial lowboy trailer reported to OPSO on August 23, 2018 has led to one arrest and a warrant being issued for the 2nd suspect.

Chester Clouse, age 58 of Montgomery, Texas has been arrested on a Ouachita Parish warrant in Montgomery, Texas by the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office.  He is charged with one count of Felony Theft. Clouse is currently being held in Montgomery County pending extradition proceedings to bring him back to Ouachita Parish.

In addition, a Ouachita Parish arrest warrant has been issued for Tony Kyle, age 56 of Cleveland Texas, charging him with one count of felony theft for his involvement in the theft.

The investigation into the theft indicates the two stole the trailer from the business after hours on August 22, 2018.  The stolen trailer was recovered at the time of the arrest in Texas.
