Investigation Leads to Narcotics and Weapons Charges

An investigation by Ouachita Parish Sheriff’s Investigators into illegal narcotics activity in the 100 block of Barr Lane in West Monroe has led to the arrest of one suspect.

William J. Barr was arrested after he was found in possession of approximately 5 grams of Methamphetamine and several weapons.

Barr has been booked into OCC for 1 ct. of Poss. of CDS II (Methamphetamine), 1 ct. Poss. of CDS in the Presence of a Juvenile, 1 ct. Possession of a Firearm in the presence of Narcotics and 1 ct. Illegal Modification of a Firearm.

The investigation is continuing.
