Homicide Investigation on Winnsboro Rd

On June 8, 2012 at approximately 10:00pm, the Ouachita Parish Sheriff’s Office was called to 4541 Winnsboro Rd., Monroe, LA, in reference to a homicide investigation. During the initial investigation Dexter L. Burkhalter, 41, and Russell L. Atkins, 38, were found deceased at the scene.
