Fourth Annual OPSO Citizens Academy Graduation

The graduation ceremony for members of the fourth annual Ouachita Parish Sheriff’s Office Citizens Academy was held last night at the Training Academy.  The class learned about the various divisions and responsibilities of the department including Patrol, Investigations, Tax, Civil, Corrections and our Reserve Deputies.  Demonstrations of specialized training including SWAT, K-9 Teams, SCAT and the Mounted Patrol were also held. We congratulate the graduates and appreciate their interest in the Ouachita Parish Sheriff’s Office.
