Four Arrested, One Sought for Home Invasion and Att. 2nd Degree Murder

UPDATE:  Ouachita Parish Sheriff’s Deputies and the Louisiana State Police have arrested the 5th suspect in this case, Frank Dozier.  He is also being charged with the armed robbery of the Family Dollar Store in Calhoun that occurred Saturday night, October 24th.  Dozier is booked in OCC on the charges of Home Invasion, Att. 2nd Degree Murder and Armed Robbery.

 

Ouachita Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a reported shooting at 10:00 a.m. on October 24th at a southwest Ouachita Parish residence.  Upon arrival, Deputies found a victim of a gunshot wound at the residence.  The victim was transported to a local hospital in serious condition.

The subsequent investigation revealed 5 suspects had come to the victim’s residence and forced entry inside.  Once inside, a struggle occurred during which the victim was shot.

All 5 suspects then left the residence.  Four of the suspects, Justin Stampley, age 17 of West Monroe, Timothy Woods, age 25 of West Monroe, Donald G. Rice, age 23 of West Monroe and Heather Ruff, age 25 of West Monroe have been arrested on the charges of Home Invasion and Attempted Second Degree Murder.  All four are being held in OCC on the charges.  The fifth suspect, Frank Dozier of West Monroe, is still being sought.  Anyone with any information on Dozier is asked to contact the Ouachita Parish Sheriff’s Office at 318-329-1200.
