Arrest Made on Daytime Residential Burglaries

An investigation into recent daytime residential burglaries in and around the Treasure Island and Indian Lakes subdivisions resulted in the arrest of Spencer Aucoin, 30, of Monroe on Wednesday. Investigators also recovered stolen prescription medication and a firearm while executing a search warrant for Aucoin’s vehicle.

In an interview, Aucoin admitted to entering several random residences with the intent to find narcotics. He stated that he has an addiction problem and needs help. Aucoin was booked into OCC on the related Burglary charges.
