Thank You West Monroe Moose Lodge

Ouachita Parish Sheriff’s Deputies frequently face situations where young children have to cope with a traumatic event.  It might involve a car accident, the death or serious injury of a family member, domestic violence, or possibly the child is a victim.  Saturday evening, as a way to help these children cope with the trauma, the West Monroe Moose Lodge 1723, through their Tommy Moose Program, donated Tommy Moose Plush Dolls to the Ouachita Parish Sheriff’s Office, Louisiana State Police and West Monroe Police Department.

Deputies in the Patrol and Investigative Divisions keep the dolls in their units to give to children they encounter to help them cope with the tragedy in their lives.  We appreciate the support and the donation from the members of the West Monroe Moose Lodge 1723.
