OPSO Arrests Suspect for Two Counts of Armed Robbery

The investigation by Ouachita Parish Sheriff’s Investigators into two recent armed robberies in the Swartz area has led to the arrest of Desmond Kincaid of Monroe.

Kincaid has been charged in connection with the armed robberies of the Circle K, 560 LA.  139 on December 7, 2019 and also the armed robbery of the Swartz Quick Stop, Highway 594 on December 9, 2019. In both instances, the suspect entered the businesses armed with a handgun and demanded cash.  Upon receiving the cash, the suspect then fled on foot. No one was injured in the robberies.

Through their investigation, OPSO Investigators identified Kincaid as the suspect.  He was located in Lincoln Parish and arrested on the Ouachita Parish charges.  He has been booked into OCC on two counts of Armed Robbery.  The investigation is continuing.
